AND WITH THAT, my Bartkira pages are complete! WELLLLL sorta. I still might tone them in THE FUTURE but if considering the deadline’s tomorrow I guess that’s not gonna happen.
A FEW WORDS: I came into this project thinking I’d really shine with the characters and that my bgs would be total shit but sorta feel the opposite now that I’m done? I dunno but I’m really proud of the work I did here even if it is just technically Otomo master copies.
Oh and the reason the first two pages are ‘not quite as good’ as the last three I can only say the most likely reason is because I did the last three on my vacation from work so I had a bit more time to work on them, rather than do em after work with an exhausted mind and body. Also I sorta got into a ‘groove’ after the first detailed bg that I kept through the end. Let’s hope I can channel some of this into later Four Eyed Man pages!
I was not planning on spending as long as I did on this. I WAS gonna just keep it an ink drawing.
